Memory and the on-device model
Orvena's own model, Qwen 3.5 4B, needs an iPhone with 8 GB of memory, and the iPhone 16 Plus has exactly that. The model runs on the device, so answers keep working offline.
Storage you need
Orvena's model is a download of about 3 GB. Voice adds two packs that both download after you unlock it: about 345 MB for English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, and about 400 MB for the other 26 languages. You can remove either one under Settings, then Voice. Apple says Apple Intelligence needs up to 8 GB of storage on the iPhone 16 Plus.
