Is Siri AI available in Lithuania?
No. Lithuania is in the European Union, and Apple's support page says Siri AI is not available for iOS, iPadOS or watchOS in the EU. Apple has not given a date.
Why Siri AI is not available in Lithuania
Apple's newsroom post of June 8, 2026 says: "Unfortunately, due to the Digital Markets Act (DMA), Apple will not be able to ship Siri AI in the European Union with the release of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27." In the same post Craig Federighi says Apple does "not currently have a timeline for Siri AI's availability on iOS and iPadOS in the EU."
The rule follows the EU, not the language. Switching your iPhone to English does not bring Siri AI to an iPhone in Lithuania, and Apple's September 14 launch note repeats that Siri AI "will not be available initially in the EU in iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS."
Apple Intelligence in Lithuania
Apple Intelligence itself does work in Lithuania. It reached EU iPhones with iOS 18.4 in March 2025, and Apple's support page says the next generation of features, such as advanced photo editing and the new Image Playground, is available to users in the EU with iOS 27 on supported iPhones.
Lithuanian is not one of the Apple Intelligence languages yet. Apple lists English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese and Korean, so you need one of these as your iPhone and Siri language to use it.
Siri AI on Mac and Vision Pro in Lithuania
The EU rule covers iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Apple's support page says Siri AI is available for macOS 27 Golden Gate and visionOS 27 if your Apple Account region is in the EU and your device and Siri language are both English.
An assistant that works in Lithuania now
Orvena is a free iPhone assistant from Orvena Labs in Denmark. Its own model runs on the iPhone, so it does not depend on Siri AI or on your region, and it keeps working offline once the model is downloaded. It moves calendar events, sets reminders and alarms, finds places, reads your health summaries and searches your photos, and it shows what it did and asks before anything consequential.
Its menus are available in Lithuanian, and it replies in Lithuanian. Lithuanian is not on Apple's list of Apple Intelligence languages, so Orvena's own model is the one to use in Lithuanian.
Siri still works in Lithuania without Siri AI. With Siri set to English, say "Ask Orvena" to hand it a question.
Orvena needs an iPhone with 8 GB of memory: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or any later model, including iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air and iPhone Duo, with iOS 26 or later. Apple's on-device model and Private Cloud Compute in Orvena need iOS 27.
Common questions
When will Siri AI come to Lithuania?
Apple has not said. Its June 8, 2026 post says it does not currently have a timeline for Siri AI on iOS and iPadOS in the EU, and its September 14 launch note says Siri AI will not be available initially in the EU.
Does Siri AI keep working if I bring my iPhone to Lithuania?
Apple's support page says that after you turn on Siri AI, "it will continue to work when you travel to other regions." It does not describe turning it on from inside the EU.
Does Apple Intelligence work in Lithuanian?
Not yet. Lithuanian is not on Apple's list of Apple Intelligence languages, so you need to set your iPhone and Siri to one of the listed languages, such as English, to use it.
What can I use instead of Siri AI in Lithuania?
The Apple Intelligence features that do work there, and apps with their own assistant. Orvena runs on the iPhone, works in Lithuanian, and Siri can still hand it a question.
