Is Siri AI available in Ukraine?

Short answer

Yes, in English. Apple's support page names two exceptions for Siri AI: iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch in the EU, and Apple Accounts in mainland China. Neither applies to Ukraine. Siri AI is a beta, and Apple says it is currently available in English.

Siri AI in Ukrainian

Apple's support page lists English as the only Siri AI language for now, and Siri itself does not support Ukrainian. To try Siri AI, set both your iPhone language and the Siri language to English on a supported iPhone with iOS 27, then turn Siri AI on. Apple says this adds you to a waitlist, and wait times can vary.

Apple Intelligence in Ukraine

Apple says many Apple Intelligence features are available in most regions on supported iPhones. The exception it names is mainland China: devices bought there, and devices used there with an Apple Account set to mainland China.

Ukrainian is not one of the Apple Intelligence languages yet. Apple lists English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese and Korean, so you need one of these as your iPhone and Siri language to use it.

An assistant that works in Ukraine now

Orvena is a free iPhone assistant from Orvena Labs in Denmark. Its own model runs on the iPhone, so it does not depend on Siri AI or on your region, and it keeps working offline once the model is downloaded. It moves calendar events, sets reminders and alarms, finds places, reads your health summaries and searches your photos, and it shows what it did and asks before anything consequential.

Its menus are available in Ukrainian, and it replies in Ukrainian. Ukrainian is not on Apple's list of Apple Intelligence languages, so Orvena's own model is the one to use in Ukrainian.

Siri can also hand a question to Orvena in Ukraine: with Siri set to English, say "Ask Orvena".

Orvena needs an iPhone with 8 GB of memory: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or any later model, including iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air and iPhone Duo, with iOS 26 or later. Apple's on-device model and Private Cloud Compute in Orvena need iOS 27.

Does Siri AI speak Ukrainian?

Which iPhones can run Siri AI?

Siri AI comes with iOS 27 on the iPhones that support Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone Air and iPhone Duo.

Does Apple Intelligence work in Ukrainian?

Not yet. Ukrainian is not on Apple's list of Apple Intelligence languages, so you need to set your iPhone and Siri to one of the listed languages, such as English, to use it.

What can I use instead of Siri AI in Ukraine?
